Increase Your Lean Muscle Mass and Strength Through Lower Volume 5 Sets of 5 Reps Bodybuilding Training

Wednesday March 1, 2006
The first plateau breaking method that I introduced in this site was my favorite 10 sets of 10 reps bodybuilding training method. However, like all routines, if used for too long the body adapts and then bodybuilding progress comes to a screeching halt. Today, I want to introduce you to another popular method for breaking plateaus called the 5 Sets of 5 Reps Method.

This method has also been used in bodybuilding circles for years in order to gain new muscle and strength. For best results, it is best used after a high volume phase such as the 10 sets of 10 reps routine or any other high volume bodybuilding program.

Hi, this is in deed great post. The art of working on lean mass is not so complicated and demanding as many try to make us believe. Really we all need practical and effective guidelines in order to advance and growth, doesn’t matter if goal is getting huge or just toning up a bit. I keep seeing same thing in my gym: those who are not using their mind power to keep up with new experiences and stay closed to anything outside their box – they give up , sooner or later usually sooner :( Therefore I want to emphasise importance of places like you have here. All the best .

Hi there, I really like what you are saying although I can’t agree fully on all things you are saying. But I really appreciate your efforts to explain details on muscle building and fitness in general. I would like to see more sites/blogs like this one. Cheers
