Fitness Motivation for Women: Use A Healthy Bodybuilding Lifestyle To Attain A Fitness Level That Will Make You Happy
Tuesday July 25, 2006
As I do my many appearances, I come across many beautiful women who still do not accept themselves. They look at themselves in the mirror and all they see is flaws. Many of the body image problems that some women suffer today, in my opinion, are created by unrealistic standards set by the TV and popular magazines.
In a conversation that I recently had with fitness expert and figure competitor Heather Wojdyla on the subject matter, she expressed to me that "magazines are entertaining and fun to read, but women need to realize that models and celebrities are airbrushed and made up to look extraordinarily stunning by top professionals. We get the idea that these people are perfect and often set our goals to look like them; however we fail to realize that those in the spotlight are really just ordinary, everyday people. Even famous faces have flaws!"
After that talk I asked Heather to please put an article together discussing this item and how women, instead of using fad diets and the latest fat loss miracle pill, can adopt a healthy bodybuilding lifestyle to attain a level of fitness that would make them happy.
In her new article called Adopting the Fitness Lifestyle in Order to Accept Your Imperfections, Heather talks about the root causes of women insecurities regarding body image, how to adopt a mindset that will lead to success, and finally how embarking on a fitness program composed of weight training, cardiovascular exercise, diet, supplements and proper rest will allow any woman to reach a fitness level that will make her happy.

I exercise and I eat right and yet despite all of that I still cannot get past seeing the fat teenager…I am 50 years old, I know it is a struggle within myself, but I have a terrible body image although I am told that I look great. I am trying.
