One of the things that my pre-contest nutritionist Tim Gardner always tells me is to make sure that I do my walks outside in order to get the fastest fat loss results. Now that I am getting ready for a bodybuilding competition, I get reminded of such a fact pretty often.
Over the weekend, I got a question from a bodybuilder asking me why would walking on the pavement be any better than on the treadmill as both activities are virtually identical. Well, while on the surface it would seem that both activities have the same exact effect on the body, this is not the case.
