Bodybuilding Advice: How Women Can Use Bodybuilding to Lose Fat and Tone Up

Thursday May 29, 2008
To this day most women who want to lose fat and tone up simply rely on aerobic exercise to accomplish these goals. However, while aerobic exercise offers many healthy benefits, it does not offer the progressive resistance required for the body to achieve a toned and firm look. That is why women who just rely on cardiovascular exercise never seem to achieve the look they are after.

In order to gat a fat free and firm look, women need to combine weight training with cardiovascular exercise. Most women are scared of weight training because they think that lifting weights will make them “get too big” and lose their femininity. However, nothing could be further from the truth as women just do not produce the amount of testosterone needed to allow them to have so much size. To prove my point, this week’s Bodybuilding Advice: How Women Can Use Bodybuilding to Lose Fat and Tone Up was written by IFBB Figure Pro Mercedes Khani, who certainly knows a thing or two about losing body fat while adding muscle tone and preserving femininity.
