With so many protein drinks on the market, many of which promise to have the latest and greatest secret muscle gaining formula in them, it may be easy for those getting started in bodybuilding to think that protein shakes are the key to muscle gains. As a result, many beginners end up spending tons of money trying all sorts of protein formulas in hopes of gaining that enormous size promised by some companies. To make matters worse, many beginners consume more shakes than real food thinking that this will have an even more positive effect on their bodybuilding gains. However, is this really the case?
