Bodybuilding Exercise of the Week: How to Perform the Flat Dumbbell Bench Press to Target the Chest

Because your body has to stabilize the dumbbells in order to perform the movement, this exercise works more chest muscle fibers than the Barbell Bench Press, resulting in more muscle growth.

If you have been using the Barbell Bench Press for a while now, switch to the Flat Dumbbell Bench Press and see your gains in size and strength skyrocket.
