Bodybuilding Advice - Keeping Your New Year's Resolutions and Achieving Your Bodybuilding Goals

Friday December 26, 2008
During a conversation with a friend of mine who is a psychologist, I was told that only about 15% of the New Year's Resolutions are kept. I did not find that low number too surprising considering that on the first two weeks of January the gym that I go to gets unbelievably crowded, but after the second week, slowly but surely the attendance begins to dim. After two months, only very few of the new members remain.

In another conversation that I had, around this same time last year, with my good friend and bodybuilding legend Lee Labrada, we pondered what the reasons were behind people not being able to achieve their bodybuilding and fitness goals.

We came to the conclusion that there are several reasons why people drop their bodybuilding and fitness programs. One of the reasons is unrealistic expectations. Other reasons, just to name a few, are lack of planning, not having clear goals, and lacking the knowledge on how to implement a proper bodybuilding program.

I think that the most important factor to being successful at achieving your bodybuilding and fitness goals is having an intense desire to achieve a certain look. Once you possess that desire, then you will need to be determined and you will have to work consistently in order to succeed in this endeavor. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

In order to make sure that you achieve your fitness goals, I have compiled for you a list of articles that discuss solid strategies for successfully achieving them. I guarantee you that by applying the strategies presented in these resources, as long as you have that intense desire to really change the way that you look, you will achieve any short term and long term bodybuilding and fitness goals.
