Bodybuilding Can Help You to Get Better in School

Many students mistakenly believe that when school starts their bodybuilding programs have to be put in the back burner.  However, this is a huge dis-service as there are many ways that sticking with your bodybuilding workouts (even if it is a condensed program such as my 25-30 minute bodybuilding workouts) will help you to progress not only with your physique but with school as well.

A few things that come to my mind as to how my bodybuilding program helped me when I was back in school are:

1) It helped me to stay disciplined and organized.

2) It helped me to relieve stress after school which in turn allowed me to focus better as I was doing my homework.

3) It kept me feeling good and helped me to keep a positive outlook on things.

For more information on how bodybuilding can help those of you who are in school, please take a look at the following article:

Great article. Exercise definitely helps combat stress and personally I find that when one thing is programmed or structured in my life the rest of it becomes that way too.

Thanks for the post. Exercise sure does have a lot of benefits. I especially enjoy it for the stress relief.

While in college, I would use exercise to keep my mind focused on my reading, I would read for about 30 min, do a warm-up set on a body part, rest 30 seconds, do a set on the same body part to complete temporary exhaustion, read for 1/2 hour and pick another body part. I could stay at my reading for hours. The breaks for exercise were better than caffeine.

I either took a run before my first class of the day, or walked the long way to class. I was then wide awake. Somehow that helps with your grade point

Body, mind and spirit, you need to exercise them all.

In my school, in England, we started a body building club with our sports master. Some of the guys were not very keen scholars, but participating in the club helped them feel more involved with the school and their attitude slowly changed. almost without exception, an improvement in results followed!
