Muscle Synergy - Synergistic Blend Of Distinct Compounds For Top Muscle Growth!

Guide Rating - rating
Muscle Synergy is a precise blend of different performance enhancing supplements that have been documented to build muscle and also protect it during periods of low calorie intake and high volumes of training.

Muscle Synergy Increases Muscle Fullness And Pumps

Muscle Synergy contains three performance enhancement supplements that help to increase muscle fullness and pumps:

  • Nicotinic acid: Nicotinic acid is a fast acting form of niacin (Vitamin B-3) which increases vasodilation (an increase in the diameter of your blood vessels), thus promoting blood flow and vascularity. The increased vasodilation helps the bodybuilder to get and maintain a pump easier.

  • Arginine: Arginine is a precursor to the production of nitric oxide. Increasing nitric oxide at the muscle cell actually makes myo-filaments increase in length and become more available (opening up cell receptors) to blood nutrients, which then may help to increase muscle protein synthesis. A study performed in 1995 (Beaumier et al.) fed healthy young adult males diets characterized as either 'normal' in arginine content (56.1 mg/kg/day) or 'arginine-supplemented' (561 mg/kg/day). Despite the fact that the nitrogen intake was the same for both groups, the arginine-supplemented group demonstrated an increase in nitrogen retention (which with proper training and recovery leads to increased muscle size). Arginine supplementation was also associated with excretion of sodium and water.

  • Creatine Monohydrate: Creatine promotes cell volumization by increase intra-cellular (inside the cell) water retention. Increasing water inside the muscle cell has been shown to accelerate glycogen synthesis (Robinson et al., 1999) and overall muscle fiber size and thickness.

Muscle Synergy Increases Protein Synthesis And Reduces Muscle Breakdown

As stated above, arginine and creatine both help to increase protein synthesis. Protein synthesis is the process by which the body takes the proteins we consume and uses them to increase the protein content of the muscle cell resulting in increased size. However, increased protein synthesis is not the only way to increase muscle size. Another way to help your bodybuilding efforts is to reduce the amount of muscle that is broken down during a training session.

We all know that in order to get the body to grow, we need to train hard. Hard training breaks down muscle tissue which is then repaired and remodeled into a bigger tissue when you rest and recover from your session. Now, if you can go ahead and reduce the amount of muscle that is broken down, you still send the message to the body that it needs to grow but because less tissue is broken, you can accelerate the muscle growth and recovery process.

Muscle Synergy helps to reduce muscle breakdown by also adding HMB, a metabolite of the essential amino acid leucine. As summarized in a 2002 study (Alon et al., 2002), supplementing with beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB), helps "to build and maintain muscle mass."

Muscle Synergy Upregulates The ATP Cycle Thus Increasing Strength

ATP is the molecule that the body manufactures from blood glucose (broken down carbohydrates) in order to power up all of the body's cellular functions. You can think of ATP as your body's fuel, as without ATP, your organism would not be able to function.

How does this relates to muscles and your bodybuilding workouts? Muscles require ATP in order to contract. More ATP in the cell allows your muscles to continue contracting for a longer period of time than if ATP levels were to be normal. In addition, if the body's ability to manufacture and replenish ATP were to be upgraded, then that would mean one can take less time to recover in between sets. It is by increasing the body's levels of ATP and upgrading its ability to replenish it that the Creatine Monohydrate and Citrulline Mallate ingredients in Muscle Synergy impart its effects on performance. Studies show subjects using Citrulline have an increase in the rate of muscle ATP (Andenosine Triphosphate, the major energy source within the cell) production during exercise and greater phosphocreatine recovery after exercise.

Muscle Synergy has ingredients that help to better utilize the arginine and creatine in the formula:

  • L-Glycine: Glycine is a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and it is of major importance to the creation of protein, creatine, glycogen, and ATP, amongst many other things.

  • L-Ornithine: is an amino acid that the body uses it in the biosynthesis of L-arginine.

  • L-Citrulline: is a non-essential amino acid that is a precursor of Arginine. Therefore, the body can use it for the production of Nitric Oxide (NO). In addition, Citrulline works with Arginine and Ornithine to rid the body of ammonia, a byproduct of protein metabolism.
