Bodybuilding Exercise of the Week: How to Perform the Wide Grip Pull-ups Bodybuilding Exercise to Widen the Back Muscles

Friday May 8, 2009
Wide Grip Pull-ups; Photo Credit: Lina RiveraThe Wide Grip Pull-up to Front is a great exercise for adding width to your back muscles. This bodybuilding exercise is to the back what squats are to the legs. While pull-downs resemble this exercise, they just do not generate nearly as much neuromuscular stimulation as the pull-ups do. As a result of this difference, pull-ups deliver much more results in terms of muscle stimulation, size and strength gains.

Learn how to properly execute the Wide Grip Pull-up to Front by taking a look at its exercise description.

Great. Pull-ups are an excellent upper body muscle development exercise. Very effective but also very hard to do!
