Hugo A. Rivera is an internationally-known best-selling fitness author of over 10 books on bodybuilding, weight loss and fitness.

Experience:

Hugo has over 18 years of bodybuilding experience. At fifteen, Hugo picked up his first weight and now he is a top level competitive national bodybuilder who dedicates his life to sharing his knowledge on how to achieve the body of their dreams in a safe & healthy manner. In addition to having several best selling books like "The Body Sculpting Bible for Men", "The Body Sculpting Bible for Women", "The Hardgainer's Bodybuilding Handbook", and his self published bodybuilding e-book, "Body Re-Engineering", Hugo has been interviewed by several radio stations, newspapers and has contributed several bodybuilding and fitness articles to many publications over the world. Hugo has worked with many industry experts and also co-authored fitness programs along with fitness icon and six time Ms. Olympia, Cory Everson. He also forms part of the prestigious team of Labrada Nutrition.

Education:

Hugo received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida, and certification for fitness instruction from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). His several years of practical experience, combined with his constant independent studies on the subject, have helped him to collect an impressive knowledge base on anything related to bodybuilding, weight loss and fitness. Hugo's knowledge of the human physiology and anatomy (something that he was exposed to from an early age due to the fact that his grandfather was a Medical Doctor), combined with the analytical skills that he developed in his engineering profession, enable him to produce extremely efficient programs that anyone can fit on their schedule. Finally, the fact that he was overweight and then extremely underweight (after the anorexic period) enables him to identify with all groups of people that have weight problems.

Because I used to be overweight and then suffered from anorexia due to misinformation, I'm here to share my knowledge with you so that you can achieve the fitness goals that you have without spending your life in the gym, following dangerous fad diets, or wasting your money on worthless supplements. Whether your goals are to mainly lose fat while gaining a moderate amount of muscle, or to gain tons of muscle and get down to single low digits of body fat, then this site is for you. As I always tell people, you don't have to step on a bodybuilding stage to consider yourself a bodybuilder.
